  • The links listed below vary tremendously in their quality. Some are still under construction, most will undoubtedly evolve over time, and some may move or even disappear altogether. Comments about these sites have been kept to a minimum, as they may no longer be valid by the time you visit the site.   • Cleveland West Road Runners Club Large running club based on the west side of the Cleveland area, which puts on a number of fine races.
  • Hermes Race Systems Includes a calendar of races that Hermes coordinates.
  • Lake Erie Association, USA Track and Field
  • Ohio Games Finals festival will be in the Cleveland area, July 17-19, 1998. This includes a 5K race.
  • North East Ohio Hash House Harriers and Harriettes New group founded in Spring 1997.
  • Northeast Running Club Large running club based on the east side of the Cleveland area and Lake County.

  • Runners World 1996 Article on Running in Cleveland A copy of the article on running in Cleveland (without the pictures). Things that have changed since the original publication but which still are mentioned here: the running store Fast Track is closed, and the football stadium (mentioned as something to run around) was torn down and a new one is being built.
