Conconi test (performed during the period 27th nov 97 - 12th dec 97) NB! A few more persons will be added after new year!

The Conconi test was made on a Runner Galaxy M.T.C. treadmill. The test will last for maximum 15 min, or until the person chose to stop. The initial speed is 5,2 km/h, and at the end (15 min) it is 20 km/h. The speed will increase ap. 0,25 km/h each 15second. Each 30 second the pulserate is written down, and charted below as a function of time (because the time indirectly is a measure of exercise intensity).


Pt. #1: Female age 19 (H:170cm,W:50kg). Frequent runner (run 1500 + 3000 m track). Ap. 60 km/week


Pt. #2: Male age 26 (H:179cm, W:71kg). Frequent runner. (Middle distance) Ap. 60 km/week


Pt. #3: Female age 18 (H:168 cm,W:52kg). Frequent runner (run 1500 + 3000 m track). Had a shin inflamation for the last month. Ap. 50 km/week


Pt. #4: Male age 32 (H: 178cm, W: 73kg). Frequent runner. (Middle distance). Ap. 50 km/week


Pt. #5: Male age 31 (H: 174cm, W:62kg). Frequent runner. Long distance. No interval training. Ap. 40 km/week


Pt. #6: Male age 27 (H: 170cm, W:68kg). Non-runner, but do a lot in-line skating.


Pt. #7: Male age 23 (H: 178cm, W: 85kg). Jogging 2 x 6,5 km/week


Pt. #8: Female age 23 (H: 176cm, W: 50kg). Had an injury last month. Runs ap. 25 km/week.


Pt. #9: Male age 27 (H: 180cm, W: 71kg). Non-runner. Work out in Fittness center 2 - 3 times/week.


Pt. #10: Female age 45 (H: 162cm, W: 52kg). Marathon runner. Ap. 70 km/week (including interval training).


Pt. #11: Male age 35 (H: 190cm, W: 80kg). Non runner. Doesn't work out at all.


Pt. #12: Male age 22 (H: 188cm, W: 86kg). Non runner. Doesn't work out at all.


Pt. #13: Female age 41 (H: 162cm, W: 61kg). Non runner. Exercise aerobics and swim once a week.


Pt. #14: Male age 30 (H:178cm, W: 70kg). Non runner. Doesn't work out at all. Smoker.
