Where or what is Spotland ?
Spotland or Spotland Stadium as it is now called is home for both Rochdale A.F.C. and Rochdale Hornets R.L.F.C. , a soccer club and a rugby league club in the north west of England .So what I am looking at is another page about sad football clubs ?
No , I just chose the name since it is a place where I spent many a miserable hour in my youth watching Rochdale play football (--ah remember the year of promotion - or when Reg Jenkins burst the net- so what if the net was rotten anyway!-) and of course at the old Athletic grounds where Hornets used to play .Now a question I've always wondered about .Why were the old Rugby League grounds built on what was probably the coldest ,most bitter part of the town ?
But seriously folks , this page is a link to some of my main interests which I have decided to put on the web .

As you can see on this link , this is still seriously under construction ,some of the internal links are there but I hope to have the page fully up and running by the 25th January 1999 .Apologies to all who have been looking for this page . There will be a launch night!!
Next up in line are the Northside Saints 
North Dublin's Rugby League team .This page is also still under some form of construction but it is further advanced .
Finally on the sporting scene,although these links are not yet really in existence ,more planning for the future .
