The following are step by step descriptions of Shito Ryu Katas. Among Shito Ryu Schools there are many variations and names for the stances and strikes. Among the different Japanese styles (Wado Ryu, Shotokan, Goju Ryu, and Shito Ryu) there are different ways to perform the "same" kata. Slide forward with left foot gyakuzuki then oizuki
Step forward with right foot in half stance, right hand grab.
Slide forward with right foot gyakuzuki then oizuki
Step backward with right foot in landing in left foot forward half stance, left hand grab.
Step forward 45 degrees to right shiko dachi, oizuki straight ahead

Mawate left foot forward in half stance, left hand palm down gedan barai
Step forward with right foot shiko dachi right palm heel thrust, left palm heel thrust, double punch

Step up with left foot and kneel down on left knee facing right, right hand age uke
Standing up left mae geri left age uke gyakuzuki, oizuki in left foot forward half stance, step back with left foot shiko dachi right gedan barai – fist facing back
Step up with right foot and kneel down on right knee facing left, left hand age uke
Standing up right mae geri right age uke gyakuzuki oizuki in right foot forward half stance, step back with right foot shiko dachi left gedan barai – fist facing back
Step slightly forward 45 degrees with left foot then right hand circular gedan barai with ippon-ken and right mae geri then slide forward with right foot in half stance jab with ippon ken
Mawate step slightly forward 45 degrees with right foot then left hand circular gedan barai with ippon-ken and left mae geri then slide forward with left foot in half stance jab with ippon ken
Then bring left foot back to right foot right elbow left elbow
Mawate step forward with left foot in half stance left hand grab – left hand moving circular motion
Slide forward with left foot in half stance right hand gyakuzuki jab – fist facing up then left hand palm heel thrust
Look to right, stamp left foot and right hand yoko shuto uke, right yoko geri KIAI
Step forward with left foot shiko dachi bring both fists up to hip double punch down fists facing inward then left punch down right punch down then slowly push left palm down
Step forward with right foot in half stance right hand grab
Bring right hand across and left hand up ending with both hands at right hip, left hand palm up facing right, right hand palm up facing front, very fluid motion. At same time bring right heel to meet left heel in an L shape.

Step forward with right foot into sanchin dachi double soto uke, bring back left fist then left gyakuzuki.
Bend knees and bring both hands together open hand, then slowly press out and stand up
Step forward with left foot into sanchin dachi, left double mawashi uke
Step forward with right foot into sanchin dachi, right double mawashi uke, right hand into shuto uke with left hand at solar plexus, right hand pulls in and left hand thrusts out.
Step across with right foot and mawate 180 degrees into left sanchin dachi, left double mawashi uke
Step forward with right foot into sanchin dachi, right double mawashi uke, right hand into shuto uke with left hand at solar plexus, right hand pulls in and left hand thrusts out.
Turn 90 degrees to left and shift into left sanchin dachi left double mawashi uke
Step forward with right foot into sanchin dachi, right double mawashi uke, right hand into shuto uke with left hand at solar plexus, right hand pulls in and left hand thrusts out.
Step across with right foot and mawate 180 degrees into left sanchin dachi, left double mawashi uke
Step forward with right foot into sanchin dachi, right double mawashi uke, right hand into shuto uke with left hand at solar plexus, right hand pulls in and left hand thrusts out.
Shift back into right neko ashi dachi, right mawashi uke.
