I finally plunged headlong into the middle of the information superhighway on March 22, 1997. Only to be run over by my first year's phone charges of over £1000 (US$1600). We in this country, at the time, had to pay for internet access charges, having no unmetered call tariffs.

So there you have it ... rather, here I am. :o)

I mention this first because it's, quite obviously, the first hobby-type-thing we have in common with each other.  Think about it?  Not too long please?  ;o)

My next consuming passion is photography ...

I currently own two cameras. Er ... better make that three. Or more. (ahem)

Ok, ok, it's about time I started thinking about selling or trading or part-exchanging some of them, I can't *possibly* use them all!  :o)

So, what do I take photos of?

Anyway, photography gets me out ... as does American Football ...

I started watching American Football in 1989 after attempting to understand the to-ings and fro-ings of a few Super Bowls over the years preceding. It's not the easiest sport in the world to grasp, but has its own peculiar rewards.

Currently, I support the Scottish Claymores, a professional team in NFL Europe (an offshoot of the NFL) playing at both the Murrayfield (Edinburgh) and Hampden Park (Glasgow) stadia.

My mate Steve runs a youth American Football team, the Handforth Hammerheads ... in addition to seemingly knowing everything there is to know about the sport.

So far, I've seen more of the sport on the TV ...

And when I'm not either online or out doing stuff, what do I do?

Watch the TV.

I have recently purchased a DVD player.

You simply HAVE to see the Matrix (what is The Matrix?) to get an idea of what DVD can do for home entertainment.

Er ... that is, TV-based home entertainment. ;o)

Back to getting out ...

next ...
