No, not the cute American series of the same name. I'm talking real people here.

This should, of course, have been first in the list.

However, you know who you are.

You also know how undemonstrative I sometimes am.

I hope though, you also know how deeply I give my thanks for being there.

On the subject of friends, keep reading ...

BTInternet isn't yet a great internet service provider.

However, it HAS got what I believe to be the best general chat newsgroup in the world:
news:btinternet.chatter

One has to be a BTInternet account holder (or know one) to gain access.

Why subscribe to the group?

Because you're worth it. :o)

I own a pedal bike.

A Trek 7000 to be precise.

It *wasn't* getting the use it should. Now it's getting more use, but I'm still not necessarily getting out as much as I should do?

Thanks to both Derek for at least *attempting* to get me interested in a regular weekly routine (Thursdays), and Malcolm for the extra, more recent, motivation to attack another day (Mondays).

Heck, where would my fitness level *be* without an almost-regular weekly source of sweat, pain and anguished looks from people I pass slowly on the street? :o}

Back to consuming passions (there's a pun in there, were you in a mood to be bothered)

So, gadgets: far too many to list, but calculators, pocket and full-sized computers, cameras and the like seem to have taken up a rather unhealthy portion of my hard-earned cash over the years.

My current computer is a PC. I had a Mac for a year.  :o)

Gadgets used to be an end in themselves. Now rather, they are a means to an end.

Now if I knew what end, I'd surely tell! :o)

Ah, back to going out ...
