    Brandon Cameron's 17:10.4 was the fastest time of the day for section VI and Kenmore West as he took nineth in the class A race.  Sophomore Peter Meindl of Orchard Park took 13th in 17:12.9.  Senior Dave Haefner led Frontier to sixth place as a team with 120 points by finishing seventeenth overall in 17:21.2.  Senior Brian Collins also helped the Frontier cause with his 32nd place finish in a time of 17:50.6.  The next section VI runner to finish was Cameron's teammate, junior John McGrath, in 34th with a time of 17:54.1.  Section VI took fourth out of nine as a team.  The best time of the day was 16:27.7 by junior Justin Romaniuk as he led Suffern to the team championship with 52 points.  Sophomore Justin Corelli of Shaker was the first runner up with his 16:34.2.  Rounding out the top five were junior Billy Vasilyadis (16:44.3) of Syosset in third, senior Jeff Beck (16:53.3) from Fairport in fourth, and senior Darrell Andruski (16:54.6) for Shenendehowa in fifth.
     John Huber of Starpoint, one of the favorites to win the class B championship, came up just short in fifth place with a time of 17:12.5.   Senior Alex Winstel was the next best runner in class B from section VI with his 26th place finish and a time of 17:49.2.  Senior Ville Ranta of Batavia was the class B individual champion in 16:44.0.  The team championship went to Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake with 76 points while Starpoint finished eighth with 158. The rest of the top five individuals were senior Marc Crosswell (16:53.6) from Elmont in second, junior Elliot Rosenblum (17:00.6) for JFK Bellmore in third, and senior Steve Teeter (17:04.8) of Johnson City in fourth.
     In class C it was junior Art Jozwiak of JFK leading section VI with his 12th place finish in 17:30.6.  Seniors Taylor Dewey (17:55.0) from East Aurora and Aaron Anderson (17:59.4) for Medina were 25th and 27th respectively.  Senior Logan Quist-Chaffee was Allegany/Limestone's top finisher in 30th with an 18:01.0 to lead them to tenth as a team. Senior Zac Palcic from Gowanda was 45th with a time of 18:20.6 and section VI was the sixth best section.  The class C champion was Julio German, a senior from Sleepy Hollow, covering the course in 17:06.2.  Second place went to freshman Sean French of Chatham with his 17:10.0.  Junior Mike Gioia led Bayport/Bluepoint to the team championship by running a time of 17:14.7 to take third.  Rounding out the top five were sophomore Chris Stanzione (17:19.7) for Catskill in fourth, and senior Darrin Oakes (17:20.0) from Salmon River in fifth.
     Junior Trevor Cable from Frewsburg took back his place as the top runner from section VI in class D by finishing tenth in 17:27.3.  Junior Ryan Coon (17:48.3) of Sherman stepped up and took the second spot for section VI beating Dustin Thomas (17:49.7) and finishing 16th overall.  Senior Dustin Thomas led Franklinville to sixth as a team by finishing 18th for the second year in a row.  The Estes brothers, Jon (17:58.3) and Jeremy (18:30.6), from Sherman were 23rd and 43rd respectively.  Section VI took third as a team.  Senior Aaron Emery repeated as the class D champion with a time of 16:31.8 to lead Beaver River to yet another class D team title.  Following Emery were seniors Jason Jabaut (16:50.1) for Seton Catholic in second, and Eric Fleckenstein (16:58.6) of Port Jefferson in third.  The only sophomore to crack the class D top five was Brendan Sullivan (17:02.3) also of Port Jefferson in fourth.  Senior Joe Iatauro took fifth for Tri-Valley with a time of 17:04.8.
