FREE E-MAIL CHESS CLASSES - Instructions

Fill in and send  this form , and I'll show you how to become a strong chess player!

Send some (at least 5) of your recent games to analysis. You'll receive many comments on them, and chess lessons made specifically for you! Please use algebraic notation; send the games using .pgn or .cbf or .cbh format only. We will not answer games in other formats; if you're using .pgn format please follow the international standards!

Please note that if your rating is 2200 ELO or more, that means you're already a strong player!

There are 2 kinds of classes: 1) E-mail classes: these are particular tips to improve your strengh of play.

                                               2) Web Chess Classes: you can view them at PONTI CHESS CLUB. Sometimes you'll receive games to analyse, problems to solve, and other chess stuff. You can view the answers to the tests at this site.

It's IMPORTANT to know the algebraic notation and the Forsyth notation, so please e-mail me if you want help on these topics. Many classes will be delivered using these notations.

In order to receive e-mail classes, you have to use an HTML viewer or browser. I suggest Netscape Communicator 4.03 or newer versions. Some diagrams can be sent in .jpg format for better viewing, so your graphics software must be capable of viewing this format. 

Sometimes you'll receive a "reading sugestion"; maybe you'll receive also an attached Web Page or address where you can order the suggested books. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT AN ADVERTISEMENT and IT'S NOT FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES. Just feel free (and lucky) to find (and buy, if you wish) the books at your local bookstore.
