Davey Boy Smith began his career in the WWF as one half of arguably the greatest tag team champions of all time, the British Bulldogs. Ironically, throughout the 1980's, Davey Boy and Dynamite Kid had a major feud with the Hart Foundation tag team over the WWF tag team titles. After Dynamite Kid retired from a back injury, Davey Boy Smith, now known as the British Bulldog started a successful solo career, winning the WWF Intercontinental title from Bret Hart at Wembley Stadium in England. After taking his bumps in the singles division, the Bulldog returned to tag team action this time with his brother-in law Owen Hart. The tag team champions, after a gruelling match for the WWF European title which Bulldog won, began to feud until Bret Hart reunited them, thus forming the Hart Foundation. The British Bulldog has held every title in the WWF except the WWF world title.
