Welcome to CPRA

Welcome to CPRA. 'What is CPRA?' you ask. It stands for Cara Pollock's Recorder Association, for mice that is. If your mouse, (It must be from Vikimouse) would like to do recorder lessons you must join them. As a member they get 1) a recorder 2)an instruction booklet 3)a member badge(to be linked here) 4)lessons a particular day(s) of the week and 5)a certificate every month they are in it. You may cancel lessons any time but may keep the recorder, booklet, badge and certificates. Your mouse must practice. It may get homework. Sometimes we have competitions, say, on facts about a composer. Here is the lesson information:

Beginners
Pre-primary

Grade 4
If they have no skill at all they are in beginners, after one month min. they go to pre-primary, the group that knows a few skills. They remain there another month.Pre-primary up has competitions, performances etc. At primary they do basic songs. They may stay there for three months max. At grade 1 they practice harder techniques. They still should remain on the same song level. The longest your mouse will remain in grade 1 is three months also. In grade 2 the mouse learns harder songs, with techniques from their previous months. They may remain here any amount of time, as with the next grades. In grade 3 the hardest techniques are learnt and they improve on their previous songs. Grade 4 adds final perfection's and the mouse will get a completion certificate. Your mouse begins on any level, depending on their capability.

Monday: 3:00 to 3:30, Beginners 3:30 to 4:00, Grade1 4:00 to 4:30, Primary 4:30 to 5:00, Pre-primary
Tuesday: 3:30 to 4:00, Grade1 4:00 to 4:30, Grade4 4:30 to 5:00, Grade2
Thursday: 3:00 to 3:30, Pre-primary 3:30 to 4:00, Grade3 4:00 to 4:30, Primary 4:30 to 5:00, Grade4 5:00 to 5:15, beginners.
Mice go once a week, at any time shown above. If you want faster learning the chart may allow them to go twice. Beginners must go the half hour, the quarter hour is only if you want learning quicker, so the beginners go either 30 minutes or 45 minutes a week.
