Cara's Web site
A site about
cacti, poetry, books and beyond . . .
Hi, I hope you enjoy my pages.
I like cats and birds.
I often do a lot of weaving.
I have two cats named Macbeth
and Khadine.
I have two sisters called Talia and Anya.
I was born in 1988 in Lower
Hutt, New Zealand.
I like art and craft, writing, reading and a lot of other things.
I'm 8 years old and in year 5 or last year I would have said
standard 3.
Lately I
have been doing a lot of basket weaving. I have this set that
helps you do it. Well, all that's left of it to use are these
stickers and one of the things you weave around. I borrow
some parts off my little sister.
You can use a lot of different things to weave including flax
and paper. It is easy to weave pieces of paper together. In
weaving you have to be careful with the pattern otherwise it
ends out wrong and you have to undo the weaving to get at the
mistake.
Cats.
There are many
types of cats including the burmese, manx, rex, domestic long
hair and angora.
The manx cat has no tail. Sometimes it has a very short tail
called a rumppie.
There are two sets
of cats, the long haired and the short haired. The long
haired cat needs to be groomed often as its hair gets
tangled.
All of my families cats are short haired apart from my big
sister's cat Latte.
Check out my Joke page for a few laughs, and make sure
you see my list of my favourite links on your way out for some other cool
pages to see.
