The first locomotives for the standard gauge Nakorn Rachasima Railway were four of these 2-4-0 tender tank engines, running number 1-4 and supplies by Dubs of Glasglow in 1894.

Passenger duties were taken over from the Dubs engines by Hanomag 2-4-0, twenty four of which were delivered between 1898-1910.

After the management of the Royal State Railway had passed into German hands, Krauss of Munich between 1898 and 1902 supplied eight of these 2-6-0 mixed traffic locomotives.
