It was finally time for me to make the long over-due change for the interface of this. The less than impressive appearance of GeoCities PageBuilder Batz just didn't cut it for me any more. I enjoy this much more. One day I will actually design something myself (I had started with this, but then got lazy again... and my little chopstix girl is so cute).

About me: Though I don't expect you to really have too much interest in this, I've put a little bit about me and my life here. I'll think about updating it periodically. If you want more details of my life (I think you are asking for a little much -- what are you, an online stalker? :P), but maybe we can start talking by e-mail. Unfortunately, I have recently had issues with my boyfriend's ex stalking me online (what else is it when you Google my name (and e-mail address), religously visit all the pages discovered, and create an account -- which is still active -- on a forum website to see what I may have posted?), so I won't be giving too much personal, identifying information out (besides the fact that I'm female comp sci, but she knew that, and now so do you... and that is a rare trait, trust me).

Crazy Fantasy: This is my most recent story, and my current pet. It's completely random, plot line is fairly unplanned, and written in the present tense. What makes it so appealing to me is that the characters are almost all named after people I once knew. Or at least the female lead's main interactions are. The male lead is Prince William, and, as I have left my home country of Canada overnight only twice in my life (and both to our prideful southern neighbor), I don't really stand a chance of being able to say I've ever known the guy. Saw his Grandmother earlier in the summer, though. My grandmother would have been pleased. Anyway, the story... ah, I have a description on it's page, go read it there.

Turn in Events: This is a story I have been working on writing since about 1999. And I'm only about a quarter of the way through it, I think. No, probably closer to half, but only the smaller half is finished. I have enjoyed writing it, but I was much more innocent when I began writing, so now it is a little more difficult to stay true to what I originally intended it to be. The story is Sailor Moon based, and is intended as a sort of inbetween/what could have been post Stars/pre freezing. I don't plan on re-writing anything Canon if I can help it, but I am enjoying playing with what I have.

Wedding Day: I wrote this short piece for an English assignment in tenth grade. It was inspired by the combination of the song, Leslie's Wedding Day, and by Sailor Moon. I hope to re-write it one day and make the descriptions longer, the characterization better, and the general flow smoother. It's written in the first person, but that person is never identified. Who do you think it is?

Updates: July 25, 2005: New layout! Nothing to report for stories at the moment, but at least the site is prettier, right? And I've added in a few more features. About me and Who is it? for Wedding Day have been added. I'm going on holidays in August, so maybe I'll get more written then.

Links: Sites that host my stories, or places I'm involved. If you want me to link to you, tell me. My only request is that you link back!

E-mail: Despite my earlier comment, I do enjoy getting e-mail from people. Please send me mail, even if it's as simple as copy/pasting the following (that's CTRL+C to copy and CTRL+V to paste):

I really enjoyed your stories. I would love to read more. My favourite part was when ______ proposed. And the wedding scene was beautiful. I can't wait until you re-write Wedding Day. I enjoyed it, but I know you can do so much better. I can really see your improvement from the start of Turn in Events to the end. I like being able to watch as an author matures. Will you be editing that after you are finished writing it?

Newsletter: I have a Yahoo!Groups newsletter-style group (only I can post) that you can subscribe to if you'd like notification whenever I update my stories somewhere. Trust me, I don't do it often, so you really don't need to worry about getting lots of mail from me.

I think that is about all I currently have included on this site. If you can think of anything else I should put up, let me know... otherwise, this is how it shall be :D. I really enjoy this layout, it's much easier to work with than the last one for updates, etc. So, be ready to enjoy the rewards! I have control of things instead of GeoCities! Now if only I had the bother to write and update. Oh well. We get a pretty site, at least, right?
