These boys are major tricksters! Here are some things they do to us:
Sometimes, they'll put their pet garden snake in Daddy's pajama pants right
before he gets out of the shower.
As far as me, the boys LOVE to get the Crazy Club Members (my friends I'll tell
you about later) and/or Daddy and/or the schoolteachers to gang up on me!
*laughs* Oh, there's some good tricks they've come up with!
To mom, their favorite is mixing corn starch and water together then dumping it
all over the dining room table. It drives mom nuts!! She'll think its dough and
flour (which is hard to clean up). She'll get a wash-rag and throw it on the table
Whenever the cloth skits across the table, she'll know what it is and calls the
boys to clean it up. Its hilarious!!!
Here's a trick they played on our family!
One night, the twins mixed 7-Up with everyone's Kool-Aid (it was Kool-Aid night)
Clyde was the first unexpected to take a sip (see, the twins, of course knew
about it and Mom had caught them in the act, but the rest of us didn't know).
Clydes eyes got wide, he almost spit it out, but managed to swallow, then started
coughing.
Dad watched him curiously and, when Clyde had subsided, asked, "Whoa, Buddy,
used to tea that much?"
"YOU!" snapped Clyde to the boys, then started laughing hard.
Suspecting something, I examined my drink and noticed bubbles.
"So, Cheltsie, find anything intresting?" asked mom in her innocent way.
"nope, just Kool-Aid," I winked at the boys to let them know I knew what was
going on, just seeing if Dad would figure out.
Clyde, catching on, smiled, "Nope, I'm used to Kool-Aid."
"Ahh," Dad didn't relize something was going on. See, our family used to acting lessons, so we're pretty good at faking.
After a few minutes, Dad took a sip of his drink and jumped up in
bewilderment, eyes wide (our family doesn't drink much bubbly sodas!*S*)
"What the!?" He lookied at us, one to another, carefully. The boys were red with
holding in their laughter. Mom was smiling and shaking her head. Clyde was doing
that "little-innocent-smirk" (as we've dubbed it) of his, and I was smiling and
shaking with laughter.
Dad's eyes started twinkling and he smiled, "You got that good on Clyde and I,
boys!" he started chuckling, "What I wouldn't give to have seen Cheltsie's face
if she was caught by surprise!"
I grinned, "You aren't going to let them get away with that, I hope!"
He didn't...He wrestled the boys and tickled me like crazy for being a part of
it. (Mom and Clyde were smart and went out!)
