I've never really considered myself an artist, but others seem to think I am. I'm just a thirty-something stay-at-home homemaker and mother. I have always had a passion for drawing and sketching though, especially throughout my teenage years. However for many years in between I only sketched occasionally.

Once my children were born I drew portraits of them and my interest in sketching returned and once I got Paint Shop Pro for the computer, well, it returned with a vengence! I always prefered pencil drawing like the iris on this page, but this new medium, the computer, offered me a level of control that I'd never experienced before! For anyone who has an interest in drawing or just being creative, I would highly recommend this software.

As for formal art education, I have none. I have just learned on my own and practiced a lot. My husband has been quite understanding most of the time although he occasionally says I spend too much time in front of this computer! I can hardly disagree with him on that point.
