I grew up reading the stories of Anne and loved them. Watched the series on tv as a child and watched the mini series on tv too. Now I have two daughters of my own and they too now know the story of Anne and love it. After searching for a few years for he video for them to watch I finally managed to get it and the sequel last Christmas. Its been watched many many times and Yes! I am still in the audience. Anne is a Classic for sure and your web page is beautiful. Must tell the girls I found it!!! I ope we also get the chance to buy the 3rd video in the series.

ALL the 'ANNE' music was composed and performed by the late Canadian, Haygood Hardy! It's absolutely wonderful and brings back SO MANY memories of the wonderful Kevin Sullivan production!

I just read this and am very disappointed: (from the Unofficial Megan Follows Homepage) Good news for all you Anne of Green Gables fans out there! There will be a third Anne miniseries from Kevin Sullivan. Both Megan and Jonathan Crombie will return as Anne and Gilbert. Shooting is set to begin in the fall. That's the GOOD news. The BAD news is that no Lucy Maud Montgomery fan in their right mind will be happy with the script. From the info that Sullivan Entertainment has released, the new miniseries will bear little or no resemblance to the novels! Here's the newspaper story: Anne goes to war in Sullivan sequel Megan Follows is set to resume her role as the red-headed waif of Green Gables. Sullivan Entertainment will shoot Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story, a four-hour mini-series, to be broadcast on CBC this summer. Follows, who for the past two summers has performed at the Atlantic Theatre Festival in Wolfville, reprises her role as Anne Shirley. In this chapter of the enduring story set against the backdrop of the First World War, a mature Anne returns to Avonlea f cing difficult choices. She refuses to marry her childhood sweetheart, Gilbert (Jonathan Crombie) if he enlists, but under pressure from the small community, he decides to go overseas as a medical officer. Seeks him out on battlefields "Gilbert goes to war without having married his one true love," says Kevin Sullivan, executive producer of Sullivan Entertainment. "It's a very touching story and Anne's world is thrown into upheaval before she finally realizes she can't lose Gilbert and eeks him out on the battlefields of World War I." Kim Yu, a spokeswoman with Sullivan Entertainment, says principal photography will be done on the production company's studio near Toronto.
