CAROLINE
Born at 36.6 weeks. She was breech from month six of pregnancy in a transverse lie position. Not fully knowing the reason for Gregory's early arrival, mom was ordered onto Level 1 bedrest in her third trimester. Caroline was born with dislocated hips (common to breech- positioned babies) and was in a cast-like splint (pavlok harness) for three months. Treatment worked beautifully and you'd never know she had a hip problem by watching her run around, climb trees and play with and keep up with her big brother. Caroline will be three this summer (99') and will attend preschool two mornings a week. In October of 1998, Caroline underwent surgery for divergent strabismus. This was done after a year plus of patching and "eye exercises" proved futile. The surgery was successful and Caroline bounced back rapidly - more so than her parents, who were basket cases! Caroline is our sweet little girl, who loves everyone. She's a "people-person" who is.......
