DON'T FORGET TO "LEND A HAND!

SERVICE PROJECTS OUR BROWNIES ARE INVOLVED IN:

Our Motto is "Lend A Hand".

* We continue to collect: Campbell Soup Labels to raise money for the Evangelical School Of Deaf in Puerto Rico and the World Mission for the Deaf. In 1997 the Mission received 2,841,730 labels. This helped them purchase a van, refrigerator, t.v., fax machine and encyclopedias at the schools in Puerto Rico, El Salvador and St. Kitts.

* We visit local Senior Homes to sing, chat and bring home made treats.

* We make table favours and small gifts for Wheels on Meals and our local Christmas Lift Program.

* We also collect Pop Tabs to sell and purchase wheelchairs for local citizens.

Did you know 1000 pop tabs = 1 pound = .47 cents

and 4 million pop tabs = 2 tons = 1 wheelchair

....so keep those pop tabs coming!

* We also collect Heinz Baby Food Labels for the Sick Children's Hospital.

* Our Senior Brownies also take part in "Cash For Kids" activities and other special yearly service projects.

If you know of a service project that would be suitable for our Brownies be sure to let us know!
