Our Little Cottage on the Web
Hi!  Welcome to our cottage in the Enchanted Forest.
Hi!  Welcome to our "Cottage on the Web".  Inside, you can venture through our little cyber house where you'll meet all of us one by one.  From Josh (the man of the house) to Carnac a.k.a, Nac (the king of the house).  I am Lois, or "mom" and then, of course, we have Stephanie ('84)who has just completed her second year of college (YIKES), Ryan ('85) who is finishing up as a senior in High School and Patrick ('91),  who is finishing up 6th grade.  Time sure does fly.  And we certainly can't forget Giz a.k.a., Giz Giz..  He's our younger cat, the baby of the family,  and is quite the bundle of energy.  Never a dull moment when it comes to the cats.

There are also adoptions for those who like to collect them.  Personally, I LOVE collecting them!  Eventually, they'll have their own place in the house but for now, they're just kind of scattered throughout.
I hope you enjoy your stay here, however I am going to ask you NOT to take ANY graphics or pictures displayed on these pages.
These artists worked long and hard on these graphics and they definitely deserve the credit for them.  So please visit them at their websites and download their graphics from there (with the exception of the Chincoteague pictures.  I have gotten written permission to use those photographs).  Some of these graphics are unbelievable!  They are truly a talented bunch! ... not to mention, very friendly and helpful also!  :)
Please "click" on their logos which I have provided for you at the bottom of each page.

Thank you, Nancze, for this very special tree.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the Military, who protect our country and our freedom, and to their families, who wait in anticipation.  Such an exquisite, extraordinarily elite group of people you are.
Many thanks to Mel and Kim for my "Keeper of the Light" graphic.  To Julie, for allowing me to display her tribute to the space shuttle, Columbia along with her "Blessings of Hope" Bears.  To Nancze, for sharing her Yellow Ribbon Tree in support of our troops and to Irene, for the use of her "Peace Angel" and "I Love the USA" graphics.  These are extremely talented and just super nice people.  If you would like to visit them at their "homes on the web", you may either click on their particular artwork displayed on this page or on their names herein.
Since Geocities is forever acting up, I have closed the front door for the time being for troubleshooting.. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.  I'll try to get the Adoption area open again soon.
I was appalled and heartbroken to hear what Ashley has been going through because her husband is overseas and in our military. Everyone IS entitled to their opinion but are they not aware as to WHY they are able to voice their opinions to begin with? Are they not aware of the sacrifices which are made, to uphold that very right to have their voices heard?  Possibly meaning the ultimate sacrifice? No one wants to be at war.  And I'm sure they would rather be home.  But, they have been called upon to protect us and our country and with their bravery and courage, are more than willing to stand up to the task.  For that, in itself, I have the utmost respect for them. I support them whole heartedly and I pray to God that He returns them safely to their families who wait.
