Rainbow Banner

Materials:

Felt Square: Sky Blue
Craft Foam: White, Yellow, Purple, Pink, Orange, Red
11" Piece of a 1/4" Dowel Rod
1/2 Yd. 3/16" Blue Picot Spool O' Ribbon
12mm Wiggle Eyes
1/4" White Pom Pom
Black Marker
Tacky Glue
Scissors

Directions:

To make banner, overlap one short edge of blue felt over dowel rod and glue in place.
Tie or glue ends of ribbon to each end of dowel rod to make a hanger.
Use patterns (see below) to cut out rainbow, sun, sun rays and two cloud shapes from fun foam.
Assemble shapes on banner as shown and glue in place.
Glue wiggle eyes to sun. Glue pom pom in place for a nose. Draw a mouth and eyelashes with a black marker.
Use marker to write message on one cloud.
