Stained Glass Potted Candle
Materials:
- 3 in. Clay Flower Pot
- Candle Magic Wax Crystals
- Candle Wick
- Assorted Colors Construction Paper
- Aleene's Napkin Applique
- 10 in. of Rick Rack (color to coordinate)
- Felt (to pad bottom of pot)
- Gold Fine Line Paint Marker
Basic Supplies:
- Sponge Brush
- Aleene's Tacky Glue
- Scissors
Directions:
- Trace bottom of pot onto felt. Cut out circle and glue to bottom of pot.
- Tear construction paper into small pieces.
- Apply napkin applique to paper pieces with sponge and attach to pot (overlap pieces to cover pot completely). Allow to dry. Apply several coats of napkin applique to pot, allowing to dry between coats.
- Outline paper pieces with paint marker to create stained glass look.
- Glue rick rack around rim of pot.
- Insert wick and fill pot with wax crystals following package directions.
Note: Candles should never be left burning unattended. Use under adult supervision.
