updateWhat an experience!  The girls had a great time and the residents want us to return.  Some of the acts were: singing, poems, dance, cheers, skits, and jokes.  Its to bad the entire
troop wasn't there to perform!

AUGUST

Beach Clean up at Deception Pass

update  Disappointing that only 5 girls showed for this project.
Bethany, Caitlin, Ashley, Christina and Alyssa did a great job
and was complimented many times for their efforts by the beach patrons.  (Girls that did not attend this project will have to attend a different one later regarding the environment.  It is a requirement for the millineum badge if you are trying for it.)

SEPTEMBER

1.  Make Dog bisquits for the local Animal Shelter. - 9/16
update During regular meeting time the girls enjoyed making, baking and tasting the bisquits we will be delivering to the Animal Shelter next week.  If you would like to bring some more from home please do.
2.  Deliver the treats and learn about the shelter.  We will meet at the Shelter NOT the church from 4:30-5:30pm     - 9/23
update  All three (3) new girls made it!  The girls were on their best behavior.  After choosing a bisquit the girls gave them to the dogs.  They got a tour, received some info. about the shelter, and visited the cats and birds.  Leaving the shelter with about 5 lbs. of dog bisquits. (homemade) 










OCTOBER

Juliette Low birthday party!  Bring gifts to donate
to the CADA Safe House or Help House.  Costumes are optional.

Street sign cleaning.  Date to be announced.

Donate and help with VFW Harvest Basket.  We will collect
non- perishable food at every meeting. Date to be announced.

Donate a harvest basket to a family through Help House.

Clean up a local park or beach area.

Make and decorate cinnamon ornaments for decorating the CADA
Safe House.  12/9

National Candle Lighting ceremony for all the Children that
have died this year.  The 3rd annual ceremony, with each time zone
lighting a candle at exactly 7:00 p.m. (their time) - causing a wave of
light to travel around the world.  12/12   Always the second
Sunday in December.

Holiday celebrations with the retirement home.  Plan
and host a party for the residents and family.  Food, entertainment,
& conversation supplied by the troop.  5:45 p.m. arrival AT the
retirement village. 12/18
