Do you see how much smarter this homepage is,
now that Amanda has removed some of the personal information?
She only has first names, and states, not full names, and towns.
Her picture no longer shows her Brownie troop number.
She doesn't say where her best friend lives,
and she doesn't say anything about her dad's phone company job now.
She is also using a Hotmail email address,
instead of her family email address,
which could make it easy for someone to trace her location.
Also, Amanda's new homepage does not list her ICQ number--
just as you wouldn't talk to a total stranger in public,
you should think twice before giving a stranger your ICQ number too.
Please,
think about how much information you put on your homepage--be safe and Be Kewl!
