We have all been thinking about what we would like to  be doing when we are our parents' age. We wrote about  some of our hopes, dreams and ambitions.

I will be a mountaineer because I want to see the view over the world. Patrick - 2 Viola

I want to be a football player when I grow up and play footie for the Wallabies and score lots of tries. Georgia - 2/3 Azzurro

When I am older I want to be an actress. I would like to be married and have three children - 2 girls and a boy. Stephanie - 4 Nero

When I am bigger I want to be an astronaut because not everybody goes out in space to see the moon and stars. Laura - 2 Viola

I will be cooking a big meal at a restaurant for 17 people in New York. Joe - 4 Nero I would like to be a novelist and be in the best sellers' list. Sam - 4 Nero

I would like to be a pro soccer striker like my great grandfather. Jackson - 3 Rosso When I grow up I want to be a super model like Elle Macpherson. Charlotte - 4 Nero

I would love to have 10 dogs. They would be 2 poodles, 2 Jack Russells, 2 middle sized poodles, 2 Lassie dogs and 2 Labradors. Imogen - 2 Viola

When I am older I would like to be a mountaineer because when I went to South Africa I climbed a mountain. I was good at it and it was fun. Elinor - 2 Viola

I would like to fly to every country in the world in business class, because when I went to Melbourne there were buttons to make the seats go down so you could watch the TV lying down. Jed - 4 Verde

When I grow up I think I will be a shop keeper. I will have a clothes shop and there will be a coffee shop at the back. My grandma might be able to help and sew some of the clothes that I will sell. Alex - 4 Nero

I want to be a doctor and make a medicine so that I can make everyone who is sick better again. Emily - 2 Viola

I would like to travel round the world and for a job I'd like to to be a ballerina or a famous artist. Sophie - 3 Rosso

When I'm older I want to be a garbage collector because I would get to ride on the back of the truck. Hannah - 4 Nero

eat much red meat. I love all the animals in the whole world -

I will be an actress and I will be doing the best movies, ads and TV shows ever. I would like to make my movies in Hollywood but I don't want to live there. Nushi - 4 Nero

When I'm older I want to play cricket. When I am not playing cricket I would like to be a scientist. Edward - 4 Nero

When I grow up I want to be a police woman or a singer or an air hostess or an actress. Nicole - 6 Giallo

I think I will be a scientist and I will work in the University of New South Wales. Hiki - 4 Nero

In the future I would like to be a pilot and fly Qantas or
Ansett and if there was a problem with the plane I would
see what the problem was and work it out.
