The best thing about this school is that it's very welcoming and the new students always feel like staying. I know this because I was a new student once and I felt so welcome I didn't even cry, although a lot of kids do when they leave their parents. In fact after about five minutes I even forgot I had parents. My point is that this school is great and everyone's welcome! Alex - 6 Giallo

I've made lots of friends at school and if I fall over in the playground they help me. I think I've got nice teachers too. They teach you instead of just letting you play, so I know lots of things now. Maisie - 2 Viola

I like it when we make things. I made some spiders and some ducks and we all made some fish. The fish are on the wall in my class. All the teachers are my best buddies. Sammy - K Oro

I love the Performing Arts Night because I enjoy acting. My dad is an actor. I like working on the units in our class and each term we present our work to our parents and to the other teachers and their classes. Hugh - 4 Verde

I think Glenmore Road is a great school. One reason, out of many, is because of the merit system. It encourages the children to work towards the goal of 15 merit cards. At the end of the year we look back and are amazed at all the achievements we have achieved. Jaime - 5/6 Giallo

Our school gives opportunities to children of all ages. The roles of the children include class captain, vice captain and student council. For the 6th class there are lots more. Peer Support encourages students to mix with older and younger children. Gabe - 5/6 Giallo
