WHAT CHRISTMAS MEANS TO ME

The children were all asked to think about
what Christmas means to them.

I love putting the decorations on the tree. It makes me excited in my heart.
****JACK**** Christmas is the time when your family and friends reunite and give gifts, as well as happiness, to others.

I like Christmas because two days after Christmas it's my birthday. Mummy says I was a very special Christmas present.
****CARA**** I like Christmas because I often go overseas and do fun things like going to the beach.

Christmas is very special to me because every year we go to a holiday house and grandma always makes a pudding and it's always delicious! I always like the suspense of waiting for the presents and all the family coming together.
****FREY**** The part of Christmas that I enjoy best is the decorations that cover the shops and houses and the crisp feeling of belonging to a family...my family!

For Christmas my family will probably go to church in the morning then we will go somewhere interesting in the afternoon like the beach. I'm also looking forward to staying up till 1 am on New Year's Eve.

I love Christmas Eve when we go to our close friend's house to have a big family dinner. All the kids do a play after dinner and it's always very special.

I'm looking forward to this Christmas because this will be my little brother's first Santa experience.
