The latest research has found that by massaging different areas of the back, it relaxes the student and messages flow a lot faster up and down the spinal cord so that more information is retained. The chair will sense when the child is losing concentration and will begin to vibrate and massage. There are no cords as it is solar-powered and the computer has no keyboard. It works by using your voice. You select what you want to see by touching the screen. We have designed a desk of the future. It features are: **  a touch screen - no mouse is needed     and a keyboard is installed. **  a timetable in the corner of the     monitor screen which tells you     which subject you are working on. When all work is finished, games are available to play. **  a laser pen for drawing on the screen     in art **  a main screen which displays different     subjects to choose from. A DAY AT SCHOOL IN 2148

In the morning, after relaxing in bed, you step on the floor and your clothes come out of the side of your bed. You have breakfast and put on your backpack. You press a button and rocket boosters come out of the back of your bag. You zoom to school and then you press another button to stop. Your bag will zoom away to the hangers. Down in the classroom you do your reading and writing work on your laptop computer and when you are finished you can send messages to your friends in email.

THE STUDENTS' CHAIR IN 2045 This chair is designed for the year 2045. It is hollow and lined with soft fluffy pillows. It has everything you need for school in the one object. This chair has a built-in teacher. All you have to do is press the button on the left hand side of the table and an automatic assignment will be sent to you through the antennae. The chair comes in a wide range of colours or we can put an assortment of colours on one chair. Ella - 5/6 Giallo

              

A DAY IN THE FUTURE

When I get out of bed, I press a button and some hands come out of nowhere with my cereal and milk, a bowl and a spoon. Then I hang glide to school and land in the school airport. There is a slide that goes down to the games room and I have a computer watch that gives me messages and tells me what my teacher is saying

THE TEACHER OF THE FUTURE I have designed the teacher of the future. Instead of using people I have chosen cyborgs because they don't need to be paid. The cyborg has transmitters and speakers to send and receive information. It has strong lights to see what the children are doing. Jeremy - 5/6 Giallo
