I have designed a bag for people in the year 2050. On the right side of the bag is a button to activate the wings. If the bag is strapped on to a person, that person can fly. If not, the bag will hover in the air. The bag also comes with two straps for your arms and a handle. The antennae pick up brain waves so that the bag will do what you think. The bag has three pockets. The first pocket is for money, cards and other small things. The second and third pockets are for books, lunch and bigger things. Also the bag has a sound system, a bit like a cassette player - but it is yet to be invented. The bag comes in many different colours. Phoebe - 5/6 Giallo

            

I have designed a school summer uniform for a girl in the year in the year 2040. It will have: A yellow short-sleeved T.Shirt with the Glenmore Road badge on it. Blue shorts or skirt with a computer hooked to the belt. Blue or yellow sandals with alarm beeper built in. A blue hat with built-in sunglasses. The uniform is very comfortable and easy to wear. You can also buy gas masks as the air is very polluted. Ellen - 5/6 Giallo

In the future I think the sun will be so hot that you would have a button in your pocket that would make a heat shield so you wouldn't burn to death. There wouldn't be such things as pencils on your desk, there would probably be a printer and a fax machine. There would be only two people on your desk and only 10 people in the class.

Me, yes Morgan from Glenmore Road Public School has designed a suitcase that can fold out into a hover scooter. "How?" you ask. Well, with the technology we will have in the year 2040 I'm sure we could make it. This fabulous scooter is solar powered and can travel at speeds up to 20 kph which means no more detentions for being late.

In the year 2045 you will find that the uniform will be an earth colour. This is because in an emergency the children may be forced to go above ground. The colours will blend into the earth's new natural surroundings. It will also cover the entire body because the toxins in the air will be dangerous to human skin. Children will still carry backpacks. These backpacks will be different because they will not be used to carry books. One side of the backpack will have an air compressing device which is used for flying. Flying will be one of the new forms of transport used for getting around the classroom. The other side will have an air filter. The uniform will be unisex. The children's shoes are to be made so that they can handle extreme changes in climate and temperature. After breakfast, you get into a transporter which takes you to school at the speed of light. When you get there, you play for a few minutes and then you get an elevator to class. In the classroom there are robots that teach you to read and write. You have computers on your desk with encyclopaedias in them.

The teacher can stay at home with a monitor in front of her and she can lie in bed. If you are naughty she can touch the screen and it will feel like she is poking you.

You will have a really cool uniform. It will be a silver suit with air conditioning and a sun shield, and your shoes will make you fly when you want to go anywhere.
