WHO'S THAT GIRL? Hi. I'm Brandy. I'm 17 years old. Yes, I am a girl. I'm a senior in high school--enough said. I live in Georgia. I want out. I'm shy and quiet until you meet me. From then on, I'm quirky, weird, sarcastic, loud, and unreserved. I enjoy entertaining my friends; I'm the one who provides the twisted humor. I'm insecure (what teenage girl isn't?). I'm rude, hypocritical, and always sorry for what I did. I wear my heart on my sleeve, and I always smile at people who look like they're having a bad day. I'm told I should smile more myself. I cry when a movie or a song touches me, but I'm not usually emotional. I used to hate myself. I'm working on that. Oh, and I'm a self-proclaimed Dane Cook AND Brian Regan fan. I love playing video games (RPGs and others), GTA 3 and Vice City, music (Jeff Buckley, DMB, Barenaked Ladies, AFI, and Ben Folds Five are a few of my faves), drawing (mainly anime style, but I'm trying to broaden my range), sleep (though I never get enough of it), and writing (only if I'm in the mood and it's not for an English paper). I'm THE biggest procrastinator you will ever meet. I usually start on huge ass projects the night before they're due. I'm also an extremely bitter, cynical and sarcastic person. I enjoy dark humor and I crack too many jokes. I love movies, but my absolute favorites would have to be the Back to the Future trilogy, all of the Nightmare on Elm Streets, The Ring, The Exorcist (classic), Waking Life (wow), Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (extremely fucked up movie), Office Space, Clerks, Vanilla Sky (I'm currently obsessed), Say Anything (my favorite romantic movie), Almost Famous (guess I have something of a Cameron Crowe obsession), Being John Malkovich (weird ass movie), Can't Hardly Wait, The Breakfast Club (this is THE movie of the 80's), Better Off Dead (hahah, the mom rocks), Unbreakable, The Sixth Sense, As Good As It Gets, Fight Club, The Shining, The Usual Suspects, Kill Bill (oh..my..god), White Oleander, and K-Pax. I'll always be adding more to that list, because I am crazy. And, as for books: The Perks of being a Wallflower (EXCELLENT book) Harry Potter (just finished the 5th, but the 3rd still reigns supreme), The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (the best book! "It tasted almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea"), The Bell Jar (I love Sylvia Plath), She's Come Undone (GREAT book), Brave New World (just amazing), One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Taming of the Shrew, Ordinary People, and To Kill a Mockingbird. That's pretty much it, I guess. If you read all this, you rock my world. |
