Lisa Hayes-Hunter | Amethyst McCalister | Ariel Johnson | Richard Exegram |
Rick Hunter | Erica Williams | Beatrice Watson | |
Roy Hunter | William Gregory Armstrong Nex | Catherine Shelling |
Lisa Hayes-Hunter
Age: 69 (though no one would
ever ask her that to her face.)
Rank: Admiral, Commander of SDF-4
Relations: Admiral Rick Hunter,
Lieutenant Roy Hunter. Wife and mother respectively.
History: Admiral Hayes-Hunter has
been an officer aboard every SDF class ship (Zor's Super Dimensional Space Fortress), and
has been instrumental in the development of the military along with that of the Earth's
and the human race's spread into the universe. If it were not for Lisa's quick thinking
and oftentimes uncanny sense of duty and resourcefullness, many disasters waiting to
happen wouldn't have been waiting.
Rick Hunter
Age: 64 (though one could
never guess)
Rank: Admiral
Relations: Admiral Lisa
Hayes-Hunter, Lieutenant Roy Hunter. Husband and father respectively.
History: Admiral Hunter has also
been an officer aboard every SDF class ship. For most of his career, during the first and
part of the second Robotech Wars, Rick was a veritech pilot. Rick loves to fly, he
learned from the original Roy, Roy Fokker, and his father, Pop Hunter, when he was a
young boy. Rick married Lisa during the second Robotech War, after a long engagement/love
affair (if you can tell me which of these it was I'll be glad to specify!!) and they had
their son Roy Hunter in 2030 on Tiresia. He has been a proponent of Peace ever since he
got sucked into the First Robotech War because of his then love,
Lynn-Minmei. Admiral Hunter is currently stationed on Luna Base awaiting the return of his
wife and son.
Roy Hunter
Age: 26
Rank: Lieutenant
Relations: Admiral Lisa
Hayes-Hunter, Admiral Rick Hunter. Son.
History: Lieutenant Hunter
entered the service at 21 with his parents' (sort of) blessing, because he wanted to be a
pilot, and see the stars. But Roy had already been to space, on the SDF-3, where it
became obvious that he had the same sort of
psychic powers as Aurora Sterling, who is
currently a member of the Interworld Council, but then was oftentimes involved in messages
sent from one area of the human controlled or explored regions of space to the other. Roy
is still in possesion of these powers, and uses them to help him control his planes, which
is why he never applied for or received an Instu-Mentality Chip. He was assigned to the
SDF-4 to serve in protecting his mother, among other things, and his father is scared and
a little upset.
Amethyst McCalister
Age: 21
Rank: Lieutenant Commander
Relations: None aboard the SDF-4.
History: Lt. Com. McCalister has
always had two loves, the stars and flight. She applied to the Defense Forces shortly
after turning 16, and has been a pilot since age 17. McCalister was raised by
her mother, Cilice McCalister, and never knew her father. Lt. Com. McCalister
possesses latent (hidden, for those of you who're wondering) psychic and psionic powers
and was grounded from flight after an episode in which her mental powers attacked
her Instu-Mentality Chip (which aided her in flying without her own mental
powers), and put on bridge duty. She was then assigned to the guidance of RoyHunter
for training in her abilities because of an order handed down that she had to accompany
the SDF-4. Lt. Com. McCalister spent two tours of duty with the Defense Fleet at Opteras,
and her previous tour was with the ICDS (Interworld Council Defense Squadron). Received
Platinum Medal for bravery and rescues numbering twenty four.
Erica Williams
Age: 24
Rank: Lieutenant Commander
Relations: Mother and father are
aboard the SDF-4.
History: Erica
was first introduced to the military as a young child, when her mother and father were
both stationed at the former Reflex Point area to help with the construction and
organization of the SDF-4. Her mother, Melissa Williams, is a career military woman and
has been in the service since she was 17, she is now 42. Her father, Richard Williams, is
also a career military man, and has been in since he was 16, he is now 49. Both her
parents are Captains and serve in the office of the flight patrols. Erica's joining was a
sad inevitablity for her parents, and they are glad the family is stationed together.
Erica began working on bridge-class systems when she turned 22.
William Gregory Armstrong Nex
Age: 27
Rank: Lieutenant
Relations: None Aboard the SDF-4.
History: Lieutenant Nex,
descendant of a long-line of fighter pilots, is a natural when it comes to flying a
veritech, and his history (genetically speaking) spans all the way back to the first
veritechs, his ancestors were among the pilots that flew with Admiral Rick Hunter himself.
Lieutenant Nex is quite the ladies' man, and has the good looks to prove it. He has red
hair and green eyes and is almost 6'3". He jumped at the chance to go along with the
SDF-4 because he loves to fly in space. He spent two tours of duty with a then Lt.
McCalister in the Opteras area, defending the non-Protoculture power sources. He
received a titanium medal for rescues numbering 15.
Ariel Johnson
Age: 20
Rank: Lieutenant Commander
Relations: None Aboard the SDF-4.
History: Ariel received her first
commision doing filing duty aboard the ground SDF-3, and went on to become a dispatcher
and computer tech at the Fokker Base and was instrumental with evacuation of the
area during a fire that burnt the base out and killed 25% of the people. She received a
bravery medal because she was the last one to exit that inferno. She is the youngest of
the ABCs, who are like the Terrible Trio, only more elementary.
Beatrice Watson
Age: 22
Rank: Lieutenant
Relations: None Aboard the SDF-4.
History: Beatrice enlisted
because all of her family was killed off in the Second Robotech war except her mother, who
was very sick, but married anyway. Her mother was personally saved by a member of
the Skull Squadron, under the then command of Max Sterling, and so she literally owes her
life to the Defence Forces. Bea, B, is the oldest of the ABCs.
Catherine Shelling
Age: 27
Rank: Lieutenant Commander
Relations: Three brothers,
pilots, aboard the SDF-4.
History: Catherine was the first
of six Shelling children to enlist into the Defense Forces. Three became pilots, and Cathy
herself contemplated that route, but instead chose the demands of bridge work as well as
the stress and responsibility. Cathy and all her siblings joined against their
father's wishes, but at their dying mother's consent. Cathy is the only one of the
siblings her father will still see, and she regrets this, so she strives to make him proud
of all of them.
Richard Exegram
Age: 27
Rank: Lieutenant Commander
Relations: One brother aboard the
SDF-4, Micheal.
History: Exegram was stationed in
Opteras with McCalister and Nex, but did not earn any medals for rescues, or for bravery.
He was not very liked because he is a wild pilot that has never seen real action,
and does not consider rescues his buisness. He was assigned Neon squadron because he is
doubted to bond well with other pilots, but is too valuable to leave behind.
