Sirius Black: A former Hogwarts student, Black is the only wizard
in history to escape from Azkaban prison. Friend of the late
James and Lily Potter and Godfather to Harry Potter. He was to
be the Potter's secret keeper when performing the Fidilius Charm,
but at the last minute convinced Peter Pettigrew to, thinking
that he would be less suspiscious, not knowing that he was
working for Lord Voldemort. He was framed by Peter Pettigrew for
killing 13 people with one curse (12 muggles and 1 wizard.)
Strangely enough, the Azkaban dementors also had no effect on
Black during the 12 years he spent there before escaping last
July. Also known as Padfoot, he is an animagus. His animagus form
is that of a giant dog which looks suprisingly like the grim
sign used in Divination. Black recently visited Hogwarts school
of witchcraft and wizardry, seeking out the traitor who framed
him (Pettigrew). After finding Pettigrew as a rat, his animagus
form, Black performed a curse to change him back to his human
self. Pettigrew escaped, and Black was almost administered the
Dementor's kiss of death, but was saved by and unexpected
Patronus. Black is still in hiding, but is not considered
dangerous.
