Welcome to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry

'Oh, you may not think I'm pretty, But don't judge on what you see, I'll eat myself if you can find A smarter hat than me. You can keep your bowler black, you top hats sleek and tall, For I'm the Hogwarts Sorting Hat And I can cap them all. There's nothing hidden in your head The Sorting Hat can't see, So try me on and I will tell you Where you out to be. You might belong in Gryffindor, Where dewll the brave at heart, Their daring, nerve and chivalry Set Gryfindors apart; You might belong in Hufflepuff, Where they are just and loyal, Those patient Hufflepuffs are true And unafraid of toil; Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw. If you've a ready mind, Where those of wit and learning. Will always find their kind; Or perhaps in Slytherin You'll make your real friends, Those cunning folks use any means To achieve their ends. So put me on! Don't be afraid! And don't get in a flap! You're in safe hands (though I have none) For I'm a Thinking Cap!'
(quote from 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone';JK Rowling;p 117-8)

Just like at Hogwarts, you can be sorted into a common room! Once you belong to a house, you can help earn your house points by playing quidditch, attending classes (when they become available) and sharing recent news about the hp series with me!

Here's how it works:

You must contact Professor McGonagall and she will make sure you are eligable for attending Hogwarts. She will then send you her response by owl, telling you your house and your house password.

DO NOT REQUEST A HOUSE, OR YOU WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED INTO THE SCHOOL

You will include your password at the end of all letters that you mail to earn points for your house. This way, Professor McGonagall can keep track of the house points. If you are already on a quidditch team, you will be receiving an owl soon, telling you your houses password.

If you wish to be sorted, please send an owl to Professor McGonagall. Please enter 'sort' in the subject box. Thank you.
