Well, here is the loveable Piglet! He
lives at "Trespassers Will", which comes from the name of his grandfather,
Trespassers William or TW for short. Piglet is Winnie the Pooh's Best Friend,
and has many memorable adventures with him.
Small and timid creature, with a penchant
for haycorns and bright colours.
Pooh's best friend. Fallen on once by
Pooh.
Piglets are very tiny
They're not even big for their size
Everything is very frightening
When seen through a Piglet's eyes.
"Yes, it's just the house for Owl,"
Piglet said grandly. "And I hope he'll be very happy in it."
And then he gulped twice because he
had been very happy in it himself.
"I think," said Piglet. "I think that
I have just remembered something. I
have just remembered something
that I forgot to do yesterday and shan't be able to
do tomorrow. So I suppose I really
ought to go back and do it now."
"Hallo, Piglet," said Pooh. "Hallo,
Pooh," said Piglet, giving a little jump of surprise. "I knew it was you."
