PROBLEM #1> Sarah>> I have a problem with a yearling that I am training. She Walks on the leadline just fine but, she won't trot on lead line or on lunge line. Can you help?

EeYOre>> I suggest that you carry a riding crop with you. Ask her to trot and begin jogging yourself. If she does not trot give her a slight (not hard, very soft) tap on her shoulder or chest with the riding crop. This will get her attention and she should begin to trot. After she begins to trot reward her with a treat and praise her.

PROBLEM #2> Sarah>> I trained a Trail hores that is 11 years old, to jump, he is doing really well except for when he knocks a jump over and it spooks him. Then when I try to take him over it again he shys and spooks at it. Is there a way to cure the shying and spooking?
EeYOre>> First make sure that he has not hurt himself. If he has that is probably why he is spooking. If he has not hurt himself, lower the jump and take him back over it. Make him stand with his front hooves over the jump and his back hooves behind the jump, until he is calm. After he is calm walk him over the jump a few more times and then try raising it again.

PROBLEM #3> Sarah>> I ride in a club that is small. We usually share one or two horses. My horse Beauty, is great at gaming when I am riding her. But when less experienced riders get on her and game they go slower. It completely slows her down so when I ride her again she goes really slow. Can you help me with this problem?

PROBLEM#4> Sarah>> When I lead my horse he is fine if you walk out in front of him. But if you walk close beside him like you are supposed to he plants his feet and won't move. What Can I do?
EeYOre>> Walk beside him and if he stops swing the lead rope behind him until he walkes with you. It helps if you have someone behind him swinging a rope while you try to walk next to him. Once he starts walking with you next to his shoulder reward him and tell him "Good boy." Continue to do this until he will walk with you buy his shoulder without somebody behind him.

PROBLEM #5> Hannah>> I ride and live in england, please can you help me with a couple of problems:
1. Although I have been riding for 5 years i still have problems sitting to the trot and the canter, have you got any tips?
2. I also have a bad habbit of leaning foreward and putting my shoulders foreward, please can you help?
EeYOre>> I recomend that you try to sit on your pockets. This will probably help you to sit at the trot and canter. Try rolling your hips back to stay seated. Although this is EXTREMELY uncomfortable, it will help with your posture. Put a broomstick or something like that behind your back and hold it there with the bends of your arms as you ride. It is uncomfortable but it will help with your shoulders and back.
