Diwali Candles

Far, far away in India Diwali is the day, For wearing brightly colored clothes while candles light the way! Diwali Candles

YOU'LL NEED heavy paper bowl toilet tissue tube aluminum foil white craft glue scissors constructions paper scraps (red or orange)

1. Cut the cardboard tube in half; then wrap it in aluminum foil.

2. Cut a flame from construction paper and glue it to the inside of the cardboard for a pretend candle.

3. Dip the bottom of the candle in glue, then place it in the center of the bowl.

Note: If your bowl is plain white, you may wish to decorate it with crayons or markers before gluing the candle inside it.
