God's Eyes

Supplies:

String or yarn in several colors
2-popsicle or craft sticks
glue
scissors

Project how to:

1. Glue the two craft sticks together, in a cross.
2. Take one color of yarn and wrap it over and around one stick.
3. Then wrap it over and around the next.
4. Repeat until you are out of yarn.
5. Tie a different color stirng to the old color with a tight knot.
6. Repeat steps above until complete.
7. Take a piece of string for a hanger, cut it and tie or glue it to your God's Eye.
8. Hang in your room to enjoy.

Crayon Candles Craft

Broken Crayola Crayons (no paper & be sure they are wax)
Paraffin Wax
Candle wicks
1- 2 pint milk carton
Ice

1. Cut top off milk carton.
2. Melt paraffin wax in double boiler (can also use heavy plastic bags to melt wax in, double the bag.)
3. Add a few crayons for color.
4. Place wick in milk carton and fill with ice.
5. Pour melted combined wax/crayon into carton.
6. When cool cut milk carton away from candle.

Pine Cone Turkeys

Supplies:

Plump Pine Cones
Bumpy Chenille Wires 1-red, 1-orange, 5 other colors
Elmer's glue
Wire cutters
Project how to:

1. Make sure each pine cone is dry
2. Cut the bumps apart in each chenille wire
3. Take one red bpum and shape into an "S". Glue to rounded end of the cone with the pump comewhat above the cone. (head of turkey)
4. Take one orange bump and shape into a "V". Glue this under the bottom of the round part of the cone for legs & feet.
5. Take five to seven other bumps and carefully bend them so the narow ends can be twisted together leaving the puffy end rounded. Glue as many of these as will fit close to the flatter end of the pine cone.
6. Let dry and adjust wires to make realistic.

Night Lights

Supplies:

1-small candle
1-Juice can-(Hawaiian punch or juicy juice can
1-Wire coat hanger
Nail-(10penny nails work best)
Hammer

Project how to: 1. Make holes in can with nail and hammer
2. Make 2 holes on oposite sides at the top near the lip of the can.
3. Poke wire ends (about an 1-2") thru top holes and bend upward and twist around handle wire.
4. Bend wire up to form handle.
4. Place candle in bottom of can.
Light will shine thru the holes!

Bubbleology

Supplies:

1- Gallon plastic jug
1/4-Cup Liquid dish soap (Dawn or Joy)
Optional-40 drops of glycerine

Project how to:

1. Mix liquid soap, glycerine and water into jug
2. Use bubble pipes, strawberry containers, bubble wands

Can you make a gigantic bubble with a person inside?

Supplies:

Wading pool
Hula hoop
String
Camera to catch all the action!

How to:

1. Attach strings to hula hoop to it cam be easily lifted by person to be inside bubble
2. Have 1" of bubble solution in plastic wading pool
3. Wear your swim suit..it's going to get messy!
4. Lift the hula hoop by the strings and make the gigantic bubble!

Marbled Glass Ornaments

Great project to use as fund raiser!

Supplies:

2- 5/8 inch round clear glass ornaments
Assorted colors of water based acrylic paints (metalics are good>

How to:

1. Remove the tops of the glass ornaments by squeezing the hanger and lifting off the top.
2. Shake first color well, then hold glass ball on 45 degree and sest the tip of the paing on the lip of the ball.
3. Squeeze a little of the paint and let it slide down the side of the ball. Dont over do the paint!
4. Turn the ball and add another line of the same color on the oposite side.
5. Continue by adding lines of two other colors.
6. Lay the ball on its side and rotate it every hour for one day.
7. Drain excess paint out of the balls by resting lip side down over a styrofoam cup.
8. Reapply the hanger and top of the ornaments.
