Silent whispering in the wind
These creatures of the wild
There gazes seeing beyond us
Their cries echoing in the night
These majestic creatures of the wild
In the darkness of the moon
He wanders
Alone and searching
For the only one
To be by his side
Across the windswept fields
He travels endlessly
Darkness claiming his troubled soul
The aloneness haunts him
Then like a shimmering ray of sun
He hears her distant call
Touching a place within him
Promising an end to being alone
Daring to believe
Daring to call out
And find the mate he needs
To fill the sadness, the emptiness
Her warmth and gentleness
Beside him for a lifetime
Come to me he calls to her
And hears her lonely cry
For these creatures of the wild
Will find each other
And never again shall part
