Win My Award!
If you would like to win my award, there are a few basic guidelines you must follow. My guidelines...ahh, the power!
You have to sign my guestbook. No questions asked..comments and all.
You have to link my award back to my page, and if you don't, then you'll be listed in the bad sportsmanlike award winner's category.
If your page has frames, you must have a page without frames for those of us out there who absolutely *hate* them.
It can't take 8 years to load. I can sometimes get really impatient, so if it takes longer than I'm willing to wait, then I'll stop loading and that's that.
Your page must have some original content. I'm looking for creativity people! A theme helps, although I don't really have one on mine either.
Professional graphics are cool, but homemade ones rock. Nuff said.
I want to learn about you. I don't care what your favourite music is, and that you had peanut butter toast for breakfast this morning - I want to know about you. Who are you?! What makes you different from the other 5 billion people in this world? What do you believe in? What are your hopes and dreams?
Your page can't be totally devoted to links to other people's pages. You have to be able to take the credit for something cool in it. It's nice to see other people's pages, and what they've done, but I want to see what YOU can do - you're the one winning the award!
All links must work. If any are broken, automatic disqualification.
There must be absolutely NO inappropriate graphics, animations, slogans, or comments. I realize that this is free world, but I personally don't want to see it. That means NO swearing, NO pornographic pictures and NO racist comments. If my Grandmother can look at it without having a hernea, then you'll be okay.
It has to be cool. It has to rock my world. If it's boring and looks like every other page on the web, it won't win my award.
I have to like it. I know that's kinda hard to go on, but when it really gets down to it, if I don't like it, it won't win an award!

By the way, if your site doesn't win, please don't take it personally! I may have just been having a bad day or something. Please try again another day, and maybe you'll win then!
