I am not a canoer, or a kayaker.
I am a member of my school's ROWING TEAM, not its crew team.
I don't know Billy, Sally or Suzy who row in Canada,
but I'm certain they're really, really fast.
I have a COXIE, NOT a coxswain.
My coach drives a coach boat, not a launch.
I "LET IT RUN", I don't "WEIGH 'NUF",
and I row with my shirt on, no matter how warm it gets.
I can properly appreciate the toque and the pogie as legitimate fashion accessories.
I tuck my medal in after I win it,
not because I am ashamed of my accomplishment,
but because I respect the efforts of my fellow competitors.
I KNOW THAT ERGS DON'T FLOAT,
THERE ARE BOATS SMALLER THAN EIGHTS,
AND IT IS A FIN, NOT A SKEG, A FIN!!!!
CANADA IS THE FIRST NATION OF THE MOVING SLIDE!
THE LAST TO SWEEP THE EIGHTS AT THE OLYMPICS!
AND THE TRUE NORTH STRONG AND FAST!
I CAME TO WIN BECAUSE
I ROW CANADIAN!!!!
eh?
