I've been interested ever since I was a little kid. I figured out I could seriously draw in 8th grade. Specifically, it was the night I took out my brother's Gargoyles trading cards and tried to sketch Demona.
2) What is your favorite medium?
I suppose it's colored pencil. For me at least it's the easiest stuff to use, and the most versatile.
3) Does music have any influence on your work? If so, how, and what are your favorite bands/composers/songs?
Music has a pretty large influence on me and my work, as most of the time I'm listening to music as I draw. My favorite genre is movie soundtracks, but I also like listening to the local 80s stations. Of the mainstream pop genre, the 80s stuff is my favorite.
4) Do you have or plan to pursue a career in art? If so, what?
I do plan to enter the world of computer animation. I've loved cartoons ever since I was little, and computers give me so many more areas to get into, like movie special effects. In truth, my dream is to have my own animation studio. It probably won't happen, but you never know....
5) Some general information about you: favorite TV show, movie, food, general comments
My favorite shows I think are pretty obvious: Sailor Moon, Invasion America, Beast Wars, Star Trek, and countless others. Star Wars ranks among my top movies (seriously adored Phantom Menace), which include the Indiana Jones Trilogy, The Secret of NIMH, Dragonheart, the Star Trek movies, and a whole bunch of others. I don't really have a favorite food. In general, most people consider me crazy. Well, maybe they're not that far off.
