When I placed this little cottage here, I knew that I wanted to have it available for my guests to come into.I originally had the bird and butterfly links in here but decided to use it instead, as a place for poetry that didn't "fit" in any other area of the castle, but that I still wished to have on display somewhere.
From mansion to cottage,
From semi to flat,
From penthouse to bedsit,
The answer is-that
No matter the country,
No matter the place,
No matter your color,
There's one common base.
It's the comfort around you,
It's the things that you own,
It's the room you relax in,
That place you call home.

Old Lace
Let me grow lovely growing old,
So many fine things do-
Laces and ivory and gold
And silks need not be new.
There is healing in old trees,
Old streets a glamour hold.
Why may not I, as well as these,
Grow lovely, growing old?
