The Shogun Angel (the Samurai)
The Shogun angel is a secret character that comes from the Old Man angel. I like to call him the "samurai" because he looks like one. Just like the Old Man angel, his AP falls really fast.
To get him, after you get the Old Man angel, take moderate or good care of him. Maximize his AP as much as possible, and don't let his hearts fall to nothing. I got the Shogun when the Old Man was about 4 years old.
As a secret character, he has more than 2 frames of animation and in that regard is way better than the Smiley Angel. He takes more walks than he prays. Some of his actions are quite interesting too, so it is worth the trouble. For some reason, he's especially hard for me to scan. (mistakes, missing a special scene etc...)

(See? A scanning mistake.) He takes out this paper, fold-up fan when he is eating. Does not open his mouth. You'll be seeing more of this fan below.

Here the bat is trying to steal his snack. Annoyingly, bat visits are more frequent with Shogun and also
the Old Man Angel. (which Shogun comes from)
He takes out his paper fan again when he is happy.

His praying moves are very interesting. He uses the fan again, but this time he pulls out 2 of them and does a sort of "fan dance".
As can be seen, some moves are mirrors of each other. Then get ready for...
Dunking scenes! These scenes are even more interesting. There appears to be a "guard" (doll? idol?) of some sort guarding his washroom stall.
Then he pokes his head out of the stall with the "guard" still there. Very strange...and hard to scan also.
Sleeping on fluffy clouds. Even a warrior needs a rest.
There is no new animation when he says farewell. One is the "taking a walk" picture, the other is the fan again.
I think the Shogun is the most humanoid (and Japanese) of the tam angels, even more so than the Chestnut, the Big Head Angel or even the Smiley Angel.
He may not be cute, but he is a rather colourful secret character.
