Data/Results

This table simply reports the data I got in my experiment. Under the column "Left-Handed Bowline" are the numbers that the left-handed bowline held before the knot broke. The same goes for the "Right-Handed Bowline." There were twenty trials for each so there are forty different numbers.

This is a bar chart of the data that was reported in the table. Above number one, which means trial number one, the right-handed bowline's result is on the left, and that of the left-handed bowline on the right. there were twenty trials and a result for each type of bowline for each one.

This is a bar chart of the data once it is sorted. Above number one, on the left, is the lowest result that the right-handed bowline had and on the right is the lowest the left-handed bowline had. the same goes for number twenty, except the highest results of each are put above it. In simpler words, the lowest is matched with the lowest, the highest is matched with the highest, and so on. It wil be noticed that when the data is sorted in this way, the left-handed bowline is always higher, which can be interpreted as meaning that the left-handed bowline is always higher, which can be interpreted as meaning that the left-handed bowlineholds more weight in general.
