2. Attach 5 gallon plastic bucket to two rubber bunjee cords hung on horizontal metal bar.
3. Place water dispenser on sawhorse so that the spout is over the plastic bucket.
4. Graduate two pitchers by pouring a cup at a time into them.
5. Tie bucket up higher using a bowline to hold it and wrap the top of the line five times around the bar before being held in place by one person.
6. Use water dispenser to pour water at a steady rate into bucket.
7. Stop pouring water when knot breaks.
8. Measure cups of water with pitchers.
9. Divide result by two to find weight in pounds.
10. Record result.
11. Repeat steps 5-10 nineteen more times.
12. Repeat steps 5-10 twenty more times using the left-handed bowline to hold the bucket.
13. Compare results of the two types of bowlines.
