The special
value of the cooperative preschool is that
together the child and parent join the school. |
The preschool is
organized, administered and operated by parents
and credentialed teachers. The school provides a
creative preschool experience which includes art,
science, math, computers, music, language
development social interaction, educational field
trips, and large and small motor activities. The
transition from home to kindergarten is made
easier in a warm and caring environment that
promotes social and emotional growth.
The special value of the cooperative preschool is
that together the child and parent join the
school. Parents work on average 1-3 days a month.
On the day that the parent works in the
classroom, they can observe their child’s
social, emotional, and educational development.
The parent is able to see how their child is like
other children and also understand how they are
unique individuals
