*sniffle* Today was our last real day together - we get on planes and leave tomorrow:( I miss everyone already!!!
We started the day by celebrating the 40th birthday of Don's Thunderbird. Yummy freshly made cupcakes with candles for wish making were provided:o)
We went up to Fenton Hill to set up for our radio event. we got out a map and marked where we got contacts from. We got som people from the L.A. area and Kentucky, Washington, North Carolina, Ohio, Georgia - even someone from Puerto Rico and someone from Canada:o) We started to learn radio/army code for letters - Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot, etc... from listening to all the people we talked to and trying to interpret their call signs.
We had lunch in the Ops building and we signed cards for everyone. We filled out a contact sheet so that everyone would have everyone's e-mail and phone numbers, etc.
We then went to Don's church and rollerskated in the gym:o) Afterwards, we had dinner at the Blue Window Bistro with just about everyone, including Susan - who wouldn't be there tomorrow to say goodbye - but not Daryl[but we would see him the next day, soo...] *sniffle* I miss everyone! Corinne and I then spent the rest of the night packing our bags for our departure the next morning...
