This report is about the three-toed sloth.  It lives in trees in the rain forests of South America.  It can grow to be between 1 and 3 feet tall. It has three claws on each hand and foot and it is very fuzzy.  It has a white face and its ears and eyes are very small. It eats trumpet wood, fruit, and leaves. Its predators are eagles, hawks, jaguars, and snakes. The three-toed sloth can sleep for 19 hours a day.
