Daddy, Cindy and Erin went to the Elementary School parking lot on Saturday, July 11, 1998 to learn how to ride with out the training wheels on her bike. Daddy showed her how to do it. She had trouble learning how to use the brakes at the same time. She would you her legs and feet instead. You can tell by the bruises on her shins. She only had one big fall. She cried a little bit but got right back up and tried again. She was a real trooper.
In a few short days, Erin has learned how to ride her bike with no training wheels. Now she can ride almost the whole way across the parking lot without stopping or falling. She is even starting to do tricks now. She rode her bike off the sidewalk and down the curb into the parking lot. She is very proud of herself and so are we.
