On Tuesday, July 7, 1998 Erin got not one but two special pieces of mail from country singers; Jo Dee Messina and Faith Hill.
Jo Dee Messina sent Erin a postcard thanking her for the letter she wrote and the picture. She was happy that Erin saw her in concert at the Alexandria Waterfront Festival.
Erin also got a special autographed letter from Faith Hill. It was on the note that Erin had given to her at the Literacy Concert.
Faith wrote, "Dear Erin, Thank you for the sweet note. It was a pleasure meeting you. Love, Faith Hill" .
She also included two coupons for free slurpees at 7-11.
Erin was excited to get all the special mail. She said, "Wow, I'm the best kid in the whole world for all these people to write me!"
Erin can't wait to go to 7-11 to get the slurpees.
Erin is deciding who to write to next. Mail to Erin is always welcome!
