This year Fathers Day was on June 21, 1998. To celebrate the day we had a cookout. We ate outside on the deck.

Erin gave Daddy a painted pottery piece that she made by herself. It was a school of dolphin  jumping out of the ocean and forming a circle.

She picked out a card for him that had special deals for a special daddy from his special girl. There were coupons inside for one uninterrupted nap, someone to share his ice cream with, a giant genuine bear hug, one free movie of his choice and a coupon of something of his choice.
Erin wrote a special poem about her Daddy:
"Daddy, I love you so much when I'm gone. I'll see you today when it's six o'clock. I know you like frogs. I might buy you one and I love you Dad so much.
Love,
Erin"
